Transferring a Session

    GoToAssist Remote Support v5 allows agents to pass a support session to another active agent within their organization.

    Restriction: Session transfer is not available in the Agent Desktop Console.
    1. Make sure the tab hosting the session you want to transfer is in focus.
    2. In the Session Commands drop-down menu in the top-left corner of the console, click Transfer session via URL.

      Result: The Transfer session window is displayed.

    3. Click the Copy to clipboard icon to copy the link of the session.
    4. Paste the link into a messaging tool, and send it to another active agent within your organization.

      Result: When the session becomes active in the receiving agent's console, the session ends in your console, and Session transferred. is displayed.
