Transferring a Session
GoToAssist Remote Support v5 allows agents to pass a support session to another active agent within their organization.
Restriction: Session transfer is not available in the Agent Desktop Console.
- Make sure the tab hosting the session you want to transfer is in focus.
- In the Session Commands drop-down menu in the top-left corner of the console, click Transfer session via URL.
Result: The Transfer session window is displayed.
- Click the Copy to clipboard icon to copy the link of the session.
- Paste the link into a messaging tool, and send it to another active agent within your organization.
Result: When the session becomes active in the receiving agent's console, the session ends in your console, and Session transferred. is displayed.
